Dress Original Ibiza  

Dress Original Ibiza is a wonderful brand that has no boundaries and the energy of Ibiza at its heart. The focus is on affordable beach chic and artisan festival clothing. They have a wonderful philosophy based on the unique and original with a sharp eye for detail and environmental impact. I was present at the start of this project and able to soak up the ideas as they developed within the team. Working with a new model also brought a fresh dynamic to the shoot. The dress is unisex so we decided to shoot it on a male model first. This generated a lot of interesting dialogue. The male torso seemed to become more defined by the line of the dress, perhaps it’s the expectation of the slender female form being apposed by that of the male, the shift in thinking became interesting! One thing is certain; the juxtaposition fits the Ibiza beach vibe. It was awesome gauging the reaction of men and women as the shoot took place.
